Not that I’m not absolutely positive we would beat

Nov 17, 2018, 7:47 AM

Notre Dame, I don’t want them in the playoffs. While my dislike for Bryan Kelly is strong and I grow tired of them being rammed down our throats every year, my main reason for them not being included in the CFB playoffs is simple. No conference championship therefore no 13th data point, They should be made to join a conference to be included. I know, they make so much money as an independent, with their exclusive NBC contract. However, They must be made to choose, the money or inclusion in the current layout of the CFB playoffs. You may disagree but that’s my opinion.

I am in your camp on this one. Even Bama did not deserve to make the playoff last year IMO. They were allowed to rest their players while the rest of us had to struggle with a really good opponent. Not fair on any level.

Bottom line: you MUST be a conference champion to be included. PERIOD. No exceptions.

As in baseball - you do NOT go to Omaha if you do not win your Super Regional. PERIOD. No exceptions.

Blame Swofford . Just that simple, ND got a free pass to affiliation but not full membership .

In truth I want the current final 4 to win out and stay the same. We beat the brakes off ND ,no matter they get an extra week of rest. I do not see them scoring more than 13 on this defense. Michigan lacks enough offense to beat Bama but that defense can beat them up a bit.

10000000% agree with this. It's absolute garbage that ND can be included in the ACC in all sports except football. I want them to be punished for it this year.

You do know that BAMA would get to play them....Because they ALWAYS re-rank the teams to help the SEC.Remember the year we were the NUMBER 1 seed ,and we had to play Oklahoma while BAMA got to play the weakest team Mich.State!

I agree with this, there was no reason to put mich st against bama that year. Really makes you think they wanted bama in nc game.

^^^this. We have always gotten the tougher semi matchup even

A BETTER solution - if they are12-0 - they can play UCF then

Nov 17, 2018, 10:39 AM

that winner gets the 4th place

easy

and easy to do

make any 12- win team play another and they can be 4th team in.

What if BAMA loses their champ game again ????

Maybe if they win out and UCF win out, they can play each other for some second level Championship. Winner gets sweet 50 yard line seats in Santa Clara for the big game ??

It's conflicting

Nov 17, 2018, 10:49 AM

We want Notre Dame to be forced to play in a
conference championship game to get to the
playoffs, but we also want them to help keep
2 SEC teams out of the playoffs.

If Notre Dame were in the Coastal this year,
Clemson vs Notre Dame would make an awesome
ACC Championship Game, like a quarterfinal CFP
game. But that would probably get 2 SEC teams
in the playoffs.
