Why is no one else recruiting this guy? (Per the recent TNet article).
Too late in the game once he decooted, most top schools are full at his position?
Anyone with any insight there?

if LSU and UT have pulled back from the all-out press.
They probably have written Fields off as a long-shot and moved onto concentrating on others in the last 21 days of the recruitng calendar.

agree!! and it is not like they HAVE to get him to keep him from playing against them..now if he was going to Auburn or Ok they would be all out !!

It seems that Fields already has an idea as to where he wants to go. Hopefully that has a lot to do with it. This class is a really great group of elite prospects. The '16 class has already gotten off to a great start and it's only going to get better.

A lot of schools don't like to waste their time, effort and money(travel expenses) on a kid they feel they really have no shot at. Texas and LSU are just taking a shot in the dark and in desperate need of a big time DB. Fields sounds almost certain he will be Clemson bound and is almost just taking those visits like its a free vacation. But this late in the game, most schools know if they really have a shot or not.

You guys seem convinced our coaches want him. He is talented but is he a Clemson type of guy? Is there anyone else that we might rather have?
