I knew the artist in that picture a long time ago but can't remember his name. I think his first name is Bob. I was in the craft and hobby industry in the 1980s and saw him at about a half dozen trade shows every year. I saw him on TV not long ago, and he now looks much older than the picture.

He was a mainstay on PBS. If you were in search of calm, art, passion, and beauty on TV back in the 80s-90’s, he was your guy.

That must have been an old PBS film that I saw recently. I remember him as a very friendly guy.

Now he's on Netflix. Check it out. Been watching him since I was a little kid. I got my kids watching him now. My youngest son lives to watch Bob Ross at bedtime. Calms him down so he sleeps well.

In as much as Bob Ross had an eye and talent of painting nature, you have arguably equal talent for earning a TD almost every time you touch the keyboard.
