Is 7 too old to believe in Santa?

Dec 25, 2018, 12:51 AM

POTUS believes it’s marginal. And told the kid so

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-in-christmas-eve-phone-call-asks-child-if-they-still-believe-in-santa-claus.amp

Some things just defy common sense.

You're onto something. God's forgiveness of our sins through grace alone and Jesus dying for our sins is just about the most socialist thing I can think of.

You're about 30 years too late. Reagan already replaced Jesus, and now Trump is taking over for old Ronnie.

Kids are being shown the allure of transgenderism in grade school. Church is becoming culturally irrelevant. If belief in Santa is still intact at age 7 these days it's a good sign but probably rare, especially when a kid can access the internet for answers. Which is a whole other issue concerning the challenges with parenting today.

I love that you accidentally admitted you find transgenderism alluring.

The 'allure' of transgenderism? Really Memphis? Do you think that's something you decide like whether you buy a Ford or a Chevy? The Allure of Transgenderism????

Exactly what do you find 'alluring' about transgenderism?

You mean you that deep down inside you might really want to be a Memphette?

There is a neural pathway missing in Trump that allows this to happen, gotta be. He seems to lack any ability to stop and ponder a better choice of words.

You guys have given me pure helll throughout the years...

because I believe in God yet you lie to innocent little children regarding the truth over Santa. With me that's not so. I taught my children the truth about God as I know it from a personal relationship with Him and the truth about Santa.

BTW, I've never told a child that Santa doesn't exist because I believe parents should have executive and absolute authority over what their children believe. Even when it's disputed parents should have obligations and rights.

On behalf the the atheist community, I apologize

Dec 26, 2018, 1:25 PM

for any secular azzhattery you have experienced.

BTW, I told my kids there was a Santa just so that later in life I could use it as an example of how easy it is to be fooled into believing myths.

Do you put their hands on a hot stove to show them it burns?

Dec 26, 2018, 9:01 PM

Love and truth are two words which have lost their meanings. How will you feel someday when they lie to you so you'll not fall for the lies of others?

You think you have control and you've figured it all out with kids but I'll tell you something brother, the only thing you have on a child is that you're in authority. They watch and mimic everything you do. Every lie you tell them will return to you multiple times. Everything you do wrong in life you'll see your children do someday.

That 'Don't do as I do, do as I say,' crap doesn't work. It didn't work for your father and it won't work for you. Take care, then, and watch how you live before them.
