I'd seed it with about 10 million, and set it up such that it will (over time) pay the inevitably increasing stipend/pay for student athletes. I don't love the the idea of what paying players may do to college football, but I'd want to set it up in a manner that whenever it happens it'll have as little effect as possible on Clemson's ability to be competitive.

If you find out you won , before word gets out call all of your friends and relatives and ask to borrow a 1000 bucks , Tell them all you need it . That way when it leaks out you won they cant call you .

You're right, but there would be that couple of family members that were actually well off that turned you down while poor mouthing, would ask you for a loan knowing they would never pay a dime back!!!

Zero. Since a lot of people on here have told me I'm not a real fan because I didn't go to school there, I'd probably just end up buying a blimp and hover over the stadium and get a birds eye view of the game.

To Clemson football most likely none. They are doing better than fine and in truth do not need the money. Having said that I would set up an endowment to cover tuition,fees and books for well deserving kids based upon area of study and GPA. While chances are good these would already be receiving assistance this would step in to ensure they are covered 100% on those items.

To be a 100% honest, and I tell my wife this every time we play those big lotteries, I would give a lot of the money to these shelters for abused and battered women and their children, and homeless families with children!!! I would do that before I done for myself bc I'm cool in the summer, and warm in the winter, and they're not. I never go to bed hungry, and they do!!! My share of a Billion could help a lot of people with plenty left for me and wife to have a little extra than we do now.

To football? A little bit.
To the university? A lot. But I would have to personally be allowed to tear down that sorry excuse for a building named Lowry Hall. I would pay for two new ones that were bigger and better. One named Lowry and one named Ancient Orange Hall.
Just the interest would get you about $40M/year which is enough for a really nice building every year or so.
I know you old geezers probably hate some of the new construction but basically every building I was in was a dump in school. For Engineering being one of the premium degrees they seem to be in the crap buildings with crap equipment.
