Or wasn’t fortunate enough, to attend the Gator Farr ‘revival’ back in the day you missed a big part of early Clemson history. What a night with the ceremonial bon pyre and the effigy burning was something to witness by Clemson men. Some adult beverages were seen also!

That is ok I was able to go to a couple and you are right it was epic and Just perfect way part of rivalry week.

Bill and several other ancient mariners and landlubbers should also remember the Country Gentleman. I wish he would arise once more from the depths of obscurity. Maybe he's hiding in the Stumphouse Mountain Tunnel living the life of a hermit.

I have proposed that the Country Gentleman be revised but to no avail. Nothing would be finer than to have him patrolling the sidelines with his Irish Setter but I’m afraid some would categorize him as an ole south slave owner and that is an image no one wants to create. Personally I never looked at it that way but some apparently did! A Country Gentleman and Clemson U would be a great combo.
