Completely agree.....BUT, I also think that after the last few days of SCOTUS decisions, the American public might (finally) be ready for a serious 3rd party candidate....IF and only IF a serious leader would arise (like Reagan).
The Republican party leadership has not had a single strategy or made a serious effort to stop any of Obama's destructive initiatives.....from DAY ONE.
I am 66 years old and this is not the country I was born and raised in......(really sorry for the rant because this has nothing to do with Clemson sports)

Laws would be changing too much causing too much instability. The sitting president would have far too much power and could just executive order as long as his appointed court would allow. It would be like having a king.

FDR tried it and it did not work. Requires Constitutional amendment which is not easy. Court, IMHO, protects the rights of minorities against the majority. It is good balance. It has provided some support in recent years for Christians, wealthy political contributors, and gun owners. Just saying...
