I think the approach at the plate needs to change

Every swing looks long and like they are trying to muscle up on every ball. I think a middle-away approach would do a lot for these guys. Monte is a great coach and I know he will figure it out, but it's getting late in the season. Baseball is all about confidence and squaring the ball up would bring back a lot of that confidence.

Great pitchers are not going to give up a lot of homeruns. We can't expect to win games against good teams by living by the HR

Any coach that does not understand the value of the basic fundamentals of traditional baseball like Monte Lee is NOT a great coach-so please don't insult past legends like Billy Martin and others by calling Lee a great coach. What a joke!

I don't think Monte can be blamed for poor execution when they put a bunt or hit and run on. But I do think Monte can be blamed for every player swinging at outside pitches like they are inside fastballs that they are gonna turn on and hit 400 feet
