UGA had Bama on the ropes, and choked again. Bama jumped on Ok early leading 28-0 before holding off a good rally. Tua played a great game (coming off an injury in the UGA game) and KM had a rough start; down 21-0 before he completed a pass.
I am convinced they underestimated Clemson and expected TL to finally choke. Clemson gave up one big play (Bama's 1st TD). After that Clemson's bend but don't break D kept Bama in check and Clemson's O wore their D out.

I love our boys and believe we are certainly better but not far far superior lol. Look at the box score. That game was won because we did better on 3rd down, won in the redzone, and we won the turnover battle. That was a dang good Bama team. We made plays and they didn't. If we played 10 times we would most likely not win them all and especially not 44-16. Possible that we would win them all but certainly not by that much.

It was still going to be our WR corp against their secondary ... every single time.
That was such a big advantage that it is hard for me to believe that in any theoretical multi-game set that advantage doesn't give you big points in every iteration.

And yet we can expect to hear the "experts" making excuses for Alabama's loss during the upcoming season. You know, how Alabama is really better than Clemson and only lost the Natty because (insert excuses here). I fully expect if Clemson and Bama meet in the next playoff that Alabama will be favored.
