My go to would be the original Godzilla movie but since it's Americana gotta say:

-Shawshank Redemption
-Good Will Hunting
-Jurassic Park
-Superman (Christopher Reeve)
-Miracle on 34th Street (watch it the night you finish putting up the Christmas decorations)
-The Patriot
-Singin' in the Rain

Good call. Gives a lot of perspective to life.
BTW, there is a museum in Toccoa that is loaded with memorabilia including the stables that were converted into quarters while at Aldbourne, GB.
Disassembled and moved to GA and reset up inside the museum, loads of Lugers and other authentic items, even some of the parachutes used on D-Day.
Every time I travel from Greenville to our mtn home in Suches,GA I pass right bye Currahee Mtn.
The only thing left from the base is the chow hall, everything else is gone. It's now an industrial park.
