For those that hasn't turned their local news or CNN

Jan 14, 2018, 9:55 AM

this morning. This was for real, it Happen to the people in Hawaii for 38 minutes.

http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/wave-panic-rattles-hawaii-false-missile-alert-52337359

I can't imagine the absolute raw fear in the minds of these people believing that they only had 38 minutes to live!!! How long do we all have before this is real for the world!!!

This happened earlier yesterday. A state employee accidentally pushed the wrong button. The governor apologized and promised one person would never be able to activate the system again .

Uh you get over it. Everyone makes a mistake its just that mistakes vary. Yeah people were scared and probably lost their mind but there isn't nothing you can do about it but learn from it and try and fix the mistake which is what they are doing.

This gives me the confused. I saw the Hawaiian Gov. say the same thing. Does that mean there is A button that automatically sends out a pre-written "The Air Force has detected an inbound ballistic missile, seek shelter immediately, this is not a test" message across all of the radio, cable, broadcast air waves?

That's one helluva button they got there. I think they need to re-think the whole 'buton' thing and put some protocol in place.

Or am I just over-thinking this?

While this was a terrible mistake and does not inspire confidence... it will probably have some positive effects in the long term. People who never gave this possibility a 2nd thought, for 38 minutes they thought it was real... and probably gave their preparedness (or lack thereof) a lot of thought.
Perhaps a silver lining will be that if something like this really does happen, a lot of people will be a lot more prepared.

Probably an elaborate plot for someone to get lucky...”come on baby, we've only got 45 minutes left on earth, it's now or never!" Watch out for a baby boom in Hawaii in 9 months.

I wonder what they would do for the other 42 minutes?

I bet a lot of people feel like they're getting a second chance in life.
That is if they survive a heart attack!

Was Steve Harvey involved? Or Warren Beatty? Surprised La La Land didn't get the false alert instead of Hawaii.
