2019 PK: Huegel & Spence are gone with key early season games

Something to keep an eye on. Both those guys had plenty of game experience which is always beneficial early in the season. Remember it took a few games for Spence to get in a groove in 2017 when he stepped in for the injured Huegel.

Is our plan to go with BT Potter at Kicker going into camp? He has game experience at least

...going into Spring Camp. I know we signed a stud punter (Swanson), but don't know who will provide competition for Potter at kicker.

Potter will be just fine. He was the top ranked kicker in his class.

Also... if I’m Elliot I probably just call the play where Trevor throws a TD pass to (insert any WRU player here) or hand it off to ETN, Feaster, or LynJ for a TD.

on all cylinders in September. Clutch FGs were key factors in early season close wins vs:

'15 Louisville (20-17)
'15 Notre Dame (24-22)
'16 Auburn (19-13)
'16 Troy (30-24)
'18 Syracuse (27-23)



Potter having general game experience will be big, but he still hasn't lined up for a clutch FG in college yet.
