Does our DL coach not coach how to draw holding penalties?

Does anyone know right off hand how many other teams in the NCAA has yet to have a holding call through Week 7?

(I know we had one on the 2 point conversion, but we declined it and that's not an actual play anyway)

I'm just not sure our DL coach is cutting it.

This is just a product of being to good on the D-line, the refs just choose to give every opposing o-line a fighting chance by allowing them to hold. Its the old Shaq effect in b-ball.

Can’t say about holding penalties because my stat site doesn’t specifically break those out and I’m too lazy to go through all of our games. I can say that there are 117 teams that have their opponents penalized more than us. 12 teams receive fewer calls than us. The ACC smashes every law of probability by dominating the stat for least penalized opponents.

Put the DL in tearaway jerseys like Danny Ford did against Boomer Esiason and Maryland. Looked likes a ticker tape parade thru Death Valley ! They were outlawed the next year, another penalty created for the Tigers!

Marshall used them as well. The skill position players would go thru several every game.
