my wife's lightning cable for her iphone 5 is broken.
apple is the monster cable of lightning cables.
any advice where to pickup another one at a more reasonable price?

the iPhone 5.
So all the new Apple products have it instead of the old 30 pin connector.
Reason they did it other than making more money on cables and accessories is because you can carry 2A on the pins, so you can charge things faster now. Also, the connector is reversible, so doesn't need a right side up to plug in.

the older Apple cables? I had one go out on me and had issues with another, it works for charging the phone but won't sync my iPhone

But yea, I've had an official apple one break on me at the lightning connection to cord part.

And I told you how about how my replacement one (also official from AT&T store) wasn't syncing at first, but when I updated to the new iOS it somehow fixed it
