doc was a caddy at Old Chatham and Dean has been a member there a while. Dean takes an interest in a lot of golfers. He helped sponsor some stuff for Grayson Murray when he was trying to make it on the tour

Doc has been Coach Byrd's special focus as the raw talent has been obvious from day one. Byrd has walked the course w Doc in most tournaments.... where they carry their own bag.

They do have a caddie in this tourney but not sure the name. Look for Byrd to be there helping w 'suggestions'.

Another thought....! Since the his is not a collegiate tourney .::: Byrd flew out on his own dime.... these coaches do not make a lot.

We are fortunate to have such dedicated coaches in Byrd and Penley
