Anyone use an over the air antenna at tailgate?

Just wondering if an antenna and amplifier will pick up anything on campus, like ABC, CBS, etc.
And if you do use one, what lot are you in?
Thinking about trying this for the upcoming season along with streaming ESPN from SlingTV. I streamed last season, works well enough, so thinking of adding an antenna so I don't have to limit watching due to data usage.

You can generally pick up Fox, CBS, NBC, and some of the lesser channels (40, 62, etc) in the Clemson area. ABC is tough to get because they're all the way up in Asheville. I haven't tried at a tailgate, I just had an antenna in my apartment the my last year at Clemson.

Was only able to get NBC, so the Notre Dame game or English premier league soccer.
I have a new plan this year - tmobile unlimited video streaming of the ESPN app, doesn't count toward data. 4G signal is pretty strong every where I've tried it.

i've been bragging to everybody about tmobile binge-on free video.
i'll have to go do a dry run from my parking spot and see how well it's gonna work.

I'm in shotgun alley (which is a pretty low area of campus) and we had trouble last year. Only got nbc and maybe 1 pbs type station (live in charleston so I don't know all the Gville stations). We either had cooking or golf.... We finally got all the correct Apple cords and hdmi/lightning adaptor and streamed from phone to tv. Worked great once we got that hooked up.

thats all we use and yes we get ABC we do stream as well
