He'll no doubt end up with an offer but it's the first time I can remember an elite prospect putting us on his final list of schools without an offer.

The obvious, the coaches have been and will likely continue to recruit the young man diligently; they're the best at what they do.

I wonder if it would even be good to sign another 5* QB

in 2021. The obvious answer is just "YES!," but i think the year after signing a 5* QB (top QB in the class no less) you generally want to sign a QB that will stick around and be OK with a backup role.

To me it's a hope for the best, plan for the worst type situation. We all think DJ will be the guy but you can never plan for things like injuries or guys just not panning out for whatever reason. I think you can't really go wrong stacking your roster with the best players you can even though some may end up transferring.

Not sure what he's thinking about as far as going pro but I think it's pretty much confirmed he'll be pitching for us. With him being rumored to throw a 95+ mph fastball though, the pro's will definitely come calling sooner or later.
