Alabama still #1 and Tigers #2.......

We all follow the AP and Amway coaches polls up until the CFP rankings come out in October. That poll becomes the official top 25 poll for the remainder of the season. After the National Championship game The AP and Coaches polls have a final ranking and both polls declared Clemson #1. However the CFP committee does not reconvene and rank the teams after the championship game. Therefore we are still ranked #2 in the final CFP poll which is the official top 25 poll. Sadly, Alabama is ranked # 1 and by default they are the national champs.

Last sentence written with tongue firmly in cheek.
