Realized i've been on TigerNet for 10 years. Time flies
when you're having fun. Like some say, I was a long time
lurker before. Though I haven't kept the pace of some of
you, I haven't flamed out like some i've seen make 10,000
posts in a few months and disappear willingly or otherwise.
There are a lot of great people in here with some incredible
stories, like Soywalker's miracle, Joe21's journey, RevDodd's
resilience, 74Tiger and AllOrangeAlltheTime and ClemsonTiger1988's
tenacity, Hartins and Lightbulbbill's history and people with
interesting careers like Tigerdug and GWPcoot and whatever FM
does and people with family and friends struggling or passing
and needing our prayers and support.
Before I finish, there are a few things I wonder when I'm on here.
- Since i've never given a thumbs down (patting self on back), my
TU/TD ratio is infinity. I'm thinking that means i have infinite wisdom.
- When someone says "one of my favorites" about a player or something
else, I wonder how many favorites they have and do they have an
absolute favorite. Is that being too literal?
- To keep a good debate going, a lot of topics like basketball,
baseball, alcohol, firearms, restaurants, and sometimes even football
get posted in the football forum. It's the first option on the left.
I wonder if the football forum button was on the far right, would
it still get as many varied topics posted in it? And since it's on
the far left, does that mean it's the liberal, socialist, radical
board? Is that too political?
- And for the life of me, I can't remember why lists are not liked by
the mod squad. I know there's probably a good reason, but i'm late
50s and have CRS - can't remember stuff.

I gave you a TU for what you have said excluding that kind remark about that old buzzard, Joe21. I think he is so old that he helped George Washington chop down that cherry tree and told George's Dad that Tommy Jefferson did it. Several have told me he definitely suffers from dementia and illusions of grandeur which we all know is the definition of a Gamecoot fan. I don't know if he ever sat in on an English class but he doesn't know how to spelle koreckly, always having to edit his post when someone calls it to his attention. I could tell you a whole lot more about that old buzzard but I don't want to embarrass him by posting that info on this board so 11,276 posters will learn the truth. Maybe we should all band together and ask the mods to ban that old geezer and send him to the old folks home.

What is TU/TD ratio? Is that a thing? I know it would be thumbs up/thumbs down. Never heard of that.
And I see people accused of TDing a post all the time. Can you really tell, or are those just wild guesses?
And what is the average airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?
