I wouldn't bet on Dixon being RB2.

The coaches have exit meetings with every player and I'm guessing Feaster was RB2 but was told that he was being pushed by Dixon rather than being told that he was closing in on ETN.

Feaster being dropped to 3rd doesn't sound like a change that would be made during the spring by our coaching staff. They typically let older players get outperformed in games before making a switch to the depth chart.

I have no idea why Smith is leaving but it could be that he expected to be named the starter outright coming out of the spring and that wasn't the case.

But my guess was Shaq was waiting to graduate to not take attention away from that.

We also don’t know what the situation is regarding the transfer so maybe he’s trying to get closer to home (Maryland) for his last 2 years.
