I’ve seen him play, he’s not very good all around but when he makes solid contact it’s gone. But none the less I will never wish bad on a young athlete and I’m a fan and hope the local boy balls out at Syracuse.

I know the kid personally. He is an amazing kid!

His best sport and first love is football but he loves baseball too. He is a good baseball player but never entertained the idea of baseball in college because he knows football is his sport. I met the kid in 7th grade and was impressed with his baseball skill. Even at that time I was told he was even better at football.

If he had decided to he could have pushed baseball and gotten offers. He is an outstanding defensive first basemen (probably the best in the low country) and a really tough out at the plate. As you can imagine, a kid heading to play defensive end in college is a big strong kid and he hits with power also.

I'm not blaming you for making a quick judgement, and the Clemson staff is certainly not sweating the recruiting loss. With that being said, the kid is incredibly hard working whose heart is in football. Good pick-up for Syracuse.

After seeing his announcement, I think it's clear that he would have been a great addition to the Clemson family.

Wish him nothing but the best at Syracuse.
