Polls are useless until about week 10, but LSU should obviously

be number 1 if we are talking about actual performance. Already with 2 very solid wins.

Ohio St is clearly #2. After that, you could argue.

1. LSU
2. Ohio St
3. Clemson
4. Bama
5. Oklahoma/UGA

Again, this means nothing at this point.

How solid are they though? Miami definitely wasn't the #8 team when they played LSU and I have serious reservations about Auburn. I think Auburn is a top 15 to 20 team but I don't think their even top 10. If rankings shouldn't start until at least week 3 then you have to throw Miami and Auburn's ranking out as well which would still not give you a definitive answer as to who LSU really is. It doesn't matter because it will work itself out. I do like LSU's defense but I still think they're not a good offensive team but they have time to change my mind. I still think Bama and Clemson are the top 2 teams I just think while Bama has showed it Clemson hasn't played a complete game. Now keep in mind that Clemson has probably played more guys than anyone in the country but still they haven't played to their standard.

I think we can agree that Miami and LSU are better teams than Louisville and Ole Miss. I mean Louisville barely snuck by WKu somehow.

Therefore, LSU has a much better resume. Winning at Auburn is no joke.

Now, the "eye test"... Obviously Bama looks better. But they've played some awful teams.

SEC West is stacked. Bama, Auburn, LSU, Texas A&M, Mississippi State. The winner of that division deserves to be in the final 4.

So is giving an objective opinion “cooting” now? Because I don’t see how anyone could give a good rebuttal to that post. Please explain how the SEC is not in fact, stacked.
