Coot formula for beating both Bama/UGA

Jul 19, 2019, 10:28 AM

There has to be some belief that they can get it done .
They've got Bentley , Muschamp and a new offensive philosophy .
What do y'all think , can they beat either or both ?

Nope.

Can't run the ball....can't win.

Haven't proven they can tackle either.....can't win.

Inconsistent QB play.....can't win.

not

I know they had some injuries but their defense last year

Jul 19, 2019, 10:34 AM

was one of the worst defenses I've ever seen in major college football. Unless it is exponentially improved, they aren't beating many, if any, good teams.

Re: I know they had some injuries but their defense last year

Jul 19, 2019, 1:25 PM

Their defense was pretty bad, but I wouldn't go that far. They were 84th in total defense, which is terrible, but wouldn't qualify them as one of the worst ever.

Poison their water supply

Jul 19, 2019, 10:41 AM

Maybe taint their Gatorade too?

Coots still don’t have any depth. Their back 7 is hilarious to watch. High school size with big 12 tackling skills.

Looking at their schedule I think 5-7 is their destiny.

UNC, Bama, Mizzou, UK, UGA, uf, TN, Vandy, aTm, Clemson

I don't see more than 3 wins in that list.

I'll give them the other two on the schedule (Appy State and and CSU).

Will probably beat NC, and either Mizzou, Tenn or KY. They won't beat all 3. They always win one they shouldn't.

If winning " one you shouldn't " is beating Kentucky at football ... you might be Coot .

Lol.

Jul 19, 2019, 1:28 PM [ in reply to Re: Coot formula for beating both Bama/UGA ]

I think they win against App State, CSU, UNC, Missouri, Vandy, and Kentucky to put them at 6-6, and maybe 7-5 if they pull off a win elsewhere. I know they haven't beaten Kentucky in the last 5 games, but Kentucky is losing a lot from last year, and the game will be in South Carolina.

Which btw, is the really funny thing about their 5 game losing streak to Kentucky. Even most Clemson fans pencil in the Kentucky game as a likely win for them each year, and somehow they've lost 5 in a row to them.

Jul 19, 2019, 10:45 AM

Coots might realistically win 8 games. But Clemson and Alabama isn’t one they can win.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

How are they realistically winning 8 games against that

Jul 19, 2019, 10:52 AM

schedule?

That would require winning at least one game against Alabama, Georgia, Florida, A&M, Clemson, and then likely going 7-0 against UNC, CSU, Missouri, Kentucky, Tenn, Vandy, and App.

I'm not seeing it. I think they finish somewhere between 5-7 and 7-5.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The yard pigeons ain't winning any 8 games in 2019.

Jul 19, 2019, 11:20 AM [ in reply to Re: Coot formula for beating both Bama/UGA ]

They'll be lucky to win 6.

Last year’s coot stats - Total Defense #84, Rushing Defense #95, Passing Yds Allowed #65, Rushing Offense #91. So that’s no Defense and half of an Offense.

So what’s the coot formula for beating both Bama/UGA? I’d start with some ground up Unicorn horn, half a dozen fresh pixie wings, 1 pint of elf tears, gently stirred with a gallon of Red Devil Lye and drink it down.

All one has to do is re-watch their bowl game with UVA when Deebo did not play. 28-0 speaks volumes to me. They have no defense, and with Deebo gone, they don't have any offense either. They might get shutout several times this year.

And no - Feaster will not provide the ingredient that Deebo provided. Sorry, but that's just a fact.

They will be doing well if Bentley, Muschamp, and the new offensive philosophy can just beat Kentucky...finally. Saban will roll into town for the first conference game looking to make a statement. The beating will be epic. SC catches another beating in Athens.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Uhhh....

Jul 19, 2019, 11:10 AM

NO !!!

Georgia and Bama are both superior to uof5c in every aspect of the game. They're better coached and have significantly more talent across the board.

Barring some sort of divine intervention, uof5c loses both of these games in grand fashion.

Figure out ways to distract the Alabama players for weeks before the game. Then run the exact same plays as Big Brother did in the Championship game, while praying that Saban still hasn't figured out how to stop copy-catters. If everything goes perfect, a -21 point "moral victory" is within grasp!

Coot formula for beating Bammer?

Jul 19, 2019, 12:49 PM

Pay for 200 NFL Scouts and GMs to be in attendance that day. And keep announcing them and showing them on the Jumbotron after each play.

Then constantly announce coaches on the hot seat during commercial breaks and potential replacements from the Bammer staff.

That should get them past Bammer.

And for the other team...

Don’t outdum Smart and that could be enough to beat ugga.

Re: Coot formula for beating both Bama/UGA

If the question is can they, then I suppose they CAN because weird stuff happens from time to time. It's not very likely at all though that they win either. I think just being within a couple of scores at the start of the 4th quarter in either game would be a big accomplishment for them.

Mus coot say this is his toughest and deepest team plus this is his(seniors) 1st recruiting class after losing to the citadel an only winning 3 games, so they are 4 years deep with muscooters!

This is danger for the SEC, the coots have been transforming all summer!
