Pizza Gate gone viral.

Apr 6, 2019, 10:04 PM

Possibly fake news? This seems Bush League, even for the Coots.

and nothing about it seems fake to me. Both parents posted about it on Twitter and FB. Her daughter wasn't hard to find on social media and does appear to be a U of SuC student.

Wait...must have missed Pizza Gate. What happened?

Supposedly the SC coaches left a $5 tip on about a $1,800 delivery.

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

Coaches have traditionally been slow to reach for their wallets when eating with another person or group. They are used to being pampered and they almost never pay for their own meals. I guess that is part of their job description. Still pretty hard to believe that they could be so cheap on a tip though!

Not always true

Apr 6, 2019, 11:54 PM

back when I worked at North Dakota State, Chris Kliemann (former NDSU coach and now Kansas State coach) was eating lunch out at the same place as me and a handful of other NDSU interns. He came by to tell us hey and without telling us, he picked up our table's entire tab.

It seems Iremember reading a post a while back regarding your health and have kept you in my thoughts. I hope and pray all is well with you. While I don’t know you personally, you are a Clemson brother and seem like a great young man! Just wanted to reach out and say hello.

It's beyond horrible if they only tipped $5, but it's also problematic to be posting receipts and stories criticizing your employer's clients.

Someone who orders pizzas is hardly a client.

Apr 7, 2019, 12:14 AM

Do you keep a pizza joint on retainer?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

A pizza place might disagree

Apr 7, 2019, 11:21 AM

About a large organization who placed a $2,000 order.

And again, if the story is true whoever tipped that little was a jackhole, but that doesn’t change the situation that the employee will likely not be looked upon kindly by the employer for jeopardizing the likelihood of further orders from that organization.

Heck no if you stiff you accept the responsibility of someone bitching or blacklisting you if its dominoes they pay drivers 3.50 on the road that doesn't cover gas. You can lose money some nights which is why you shouldn't let your kids do it in the first place.

It’s been out on the interwebs long enough that if it wasn’t true someone from UofSCjr would/should have disputed it. Every minute they’re silent, the more this looks bad for them.

If it is true, they are probably getting the spin machine working.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

This from a coot fan on Twitter seems to confirm it's real

childish excuse

Apr 7, 2019, 12:55 AM

Makes the coach who decided to leave the spiteful tip look very immature.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I'm guessing the drivers had to make multiple trips

Apr 7, 2019, 12:57 AM

and were forced to choose between having some of the pizzas get there early or late.

Apr 7, 2019, 12:38 AM

It's not fake.

Spokesperson confirmed it by redirecting the blame on shoddy service. Like when you deliver 200 pizzas every one is supposed to be hot and come in an uncrushed box. And the food apparently is not supposed to be early. So apparently they were supposed to sit in traffic longer, waste more time earning no money.

*$%&*holes.

I delivered large orders and normal ones for 9 years, multiple pizza places. Even 18-year old privates on Ft Gordon tip better than that.

Re: Pizza Gate gone viral.

Apr 7, 2019, 1:10 AM

As a current delivery driver trynna pay for college appt and stuff I can confirm some of the orders will be early some late especially if its mid day when you only have 1-3 drivers working TOTAL. they probably put all other orders 1-2 hours wait time (guaranteeing a shotty tip) and didn't even cover gas they deserve the shame.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It's real. Ray Tanner commented on it
