Portal Questions

I’m not very familiar with the transfer portal rules, so could someone educate me? Is a school allowed to talk to a player while they are still at another school? I’m sure everything is legit, I was just dumbfounded how a player can enter the portal and commit to another school within 24 hours.

He must have called Chapel Hill as soon as he was in the portal , to see if they have a spot!

You’d think he would have wanted to speak with coaches first and you’d think UNC would want to at least make sure he wasn’t injured, etc. At least do some confirmation this is a player they do indeed want.

Odd for sure is all.
