Sep 12, 2019, 10:37 PM

I am a big Pearl Jam fan, any other PJ fan, or if you have anything Pearl Jam related, you are welcomed to join in

You know what...

Only PJ fans round these parts are still hurting 2 weeks later. Frick Georgia Tech. But do you know how in all of those zombie movies, how the zombies don’t necessarily run out at first, but when they do, they are unrelenting? Well this place is sort of like that. Except, instead of craving human flesh, they crave tiddies! Lots of tiddies! And you know how in the movies the guy that you thought was a good guy sent to help the main character turns out to be a zombie... SHOW ME THE TIDDIES!!!

I’ve never been able to determine whether it’s the box or the bag that I like

Yellow Ledbetter live at Safeco Field, I went to both shows, sold out 47,000 each night, they played 35 songs one night & I think 32 the other & only repeated like 6 songs, it was pretty epic

APM forgets it, but Ten is one of the greatest LPs. Ever.

Sep 13, 2019, 7:32 AM

So frikkin' good.

APM will listen today. Thanks for the prompt.

APM appreciate who Vedder appreciates (Townshend, Hendrix, etc. - skills respects skill) but can't say APM has followed late PJ.

And he's not sure why, because even though APM was the right age to fully enjoy it all when it came out, APM doesn't listen to the very good grunge music of the early 90s, even though he likes a lot of it.

It's like I have to be in the right mood. If I am, there's nothing better.

Please.....

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: ...and in April, it will be 4 years since Greenville too

Sep 13, 2019, 12:14 PM

we are all due, they haven't played since 2018

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I saw them in Columbia, in what feels like 2 years ago, but

Sep 13, 2019, 12:24 PM [ in reply to Re: Pearl Jam appreciation thread ]

maybe it was longer.

Ten is one of my favorite albums ever.

They had a few good ones afterwards also, but once they got all political with the EFF George Bush stuff, I really lost interest.

That being said, they were awesome when I saw them a few years ago!

How many bands stay together & never break up, they have been together for like 29 years, except the drummer everyone is original & they got the drummer from Soundgarden
