back are nothing to giggle at. But the stupidity on the part of multiple people is almost staggering: where were the assistant coaches?? the equipment managers?? the idiot that left a javelin sticking out of the ground blade first??

And surely when they have sprinters or long jumpers do an exercise that involves running backwards--they have someone working with the athlete to----oh, I don't know---make sure he doesn't get a piece of equipment embedded in his back!!
