Trumpers are desperately looking for anything that seems to show that non-Trumpers are actually in favor of Trump's policy. The idea is that they only oppose Trump because it's Trump.
Two problems with this strategy:
1) There are differences between the situations, and there are reasons to oppose Trump's policy due to those differences.
2) But if the policies were actually the same, then Trump is just another Chuck Schumer. (Of course, that's not true, which is why see (1).)

1) Schumer was referring specifically to the refugee program, not all travel from certain countries.
2) Schumer never proposed ban on travel from Syria or any other country.
3) Schumer didn't even seek a ban of the refugee program.
4) Schumer only said that a pause "may be necessary" depending on the following day's briefing.
5) That's because Schumer was concerned with the facts and wasn't just making #### up as he went along.
6) But even so, other Dems thought Schumer was going too far by even suggesting that a pause would be necessary. Which make the other Dems completely not hypocritical with Trump.

the two guys whose fingerprints were found on IED's in Iraq, while they were in the US. They were arrested, confessed, and it was determined that additional screening was necessary on Iraqi refugees.
They entered the US in April of 2009.
