I could see this being an issue for College football. But I think the XFL’s best opportunity for success isn’t plucking top NFL prospects with minimal money, but rather all of the “practice squad” players and all of the talented college athletes that don’t make it on an NFL roster.

Which is why they want to #### up college football. Ignore them. PLEASE ignore them.
The Alabama media worshipers REALLY want him gone. I heard they need to change the rule, so he goes pro earlier. Maybe give him next season. The Alabama butthurt runs DEEP among the talking heads.

People are also saying he should be able to go right to the NFL too. Critics these athletes play for free. I agree with Dabo. They don't play for free. They get hooked big time. A college education, food, and housing, already is a sweet hookup.

They also get an attendance cost stipend.

It’s not a lot. But Clemson athletes receive about $390 per month spending money. I’m sure some athletes will be tempted for the bigger chunk of money. But if all of their basic needs are cared for and they get some walking around money, that will help curb much of that temptation.

Pretty sweet deal actually. They get all their clothing. They get cool places to hangout too. Seems pretty sweet to me. They probably get free beers too wherever they go. The hot chicks wouldn't be so bad either.

Yeah that is a good point. That's where the athlete should make some money. They should put money grom jersey sales or likeness etc away for the athlete that the athlete gets after 3 years.
