Would truly help the college game is for the rules committee to make it illegal for a player to return to the game after an injury timeout has been used to help the player off the field. We see it to many times where a player returns after one play has been run. In many cases this is a feeble attempt to either stop the clock or give a team time to catch their breath. I’ve never seen that action as abused as it was in our thrilling victory over LSU several years ago. Our friends from Raleigh are not immune to such behavior either. I bet you see it Saturday more than once!


Imo a player who is helped off the field for an apparent injury should not be allowed to re-enter the game until there is a change of possession. Do you think this is an unfair statement I have made?
