They make good beer. Heck all beer is good. But there exists a center line. The “great American pilsners” exist below that center line as do the German purity law brews. Anything that steps out of that mold can potentially be great. It’s different, therefore it’s good. Unfortunately now we have “alcoholic seltzer waters” and “alcoholic sodas”. So we have to set a line in the sand. For me, if you use decent ingredients and make drinkable beer you’re doing it right. Nice label and you’re winning the masses. Too sweet, no thanks. Too bitter, still misses the mark. Get in my belly and get me where I’m going with the least suffrage possible.

My favorite beer people are the one's who judge beer by how much abv is in it. Triple IPA at 12%? it's the greatest if you like rubbing alcohol.

The abv doesn't make a beer. It's the taste!
