Ok the last sentence in this article confuses me.

I understood that the penalty for the failed test was a 1 year suspension. This article states that ,

"According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, if Lawrence’s suspension is upheld but Clemson wins against Oklahoma, he can regain his eligibility with a new test before the Jan. 7 CFP Championship against Alabama or Oklahoma."

Well now I am double confused, I read right past the error that you pointed out. I was focused on the fact that Dexter could take a fresh test after sitting out the cotton bowl , then play in the National Championship. Isn't it a 1 -year suspension?

I realize there are some hurt feelings with Clemson's rise to prominence, but I just think it is unfair for us to have to play 2 semi-finals in order to get a shot at Bama.

It's just their way of getting us tired to give bama the edge.
