Not so Good Friday.

So we found out today that our older boxer (8 years old) has cancer. They think it’s leukemia with lymphoma. I’m no vet and I am not sure what cancer is the best to have or not. I just know all cancer sucks. We are taking him to a specialist in Syracuse, NY for treatment options. I pray we have a good one that can give him a decent quality of life for a little bit longer. He’s still acting like himself but I know in the end, that may soon change if he doesn’t respond well to the treatment. Just please say a prayer if you will that God will place his healing hand on him and our heavy hearts and take this cancer away.

When he was 11. Unfortunately for him there wasn't too many options that would've helped much at his age. It eventually caused him to lose his sight.

Hopefully there are better treatments available these days. (This was about 8 years ago now)

Well this reason is why we kept the pet insurance on him.

He’s like one of our children. Gonna do the treatment to at least give him a chance. We didn’t name him Chance for nothing!!
