It depends on the team each season.

In '16 he knew that he needed to lose to Pitt on purpose to get the team focused to win it all.

This year's team did not need that.

Both choices are acceptable ways to win it all.

Any more than one loss and the other coaches are just not paying attention!

Do you have solid evidence supporting an opposing opinion?

I would love to hear your side of the argument.

The loss worked too perfectly to have not been on purpose.

I bet Dabo and Dwayne Heidt (sp?) laugh about it all the time.

Dabo saw the previous season that we were not at a point in our program to go 15-0. He took the sacrifice with Pitt rather than losing a second national championship game.

I'm glad he made the decision!
