put 31 first downs on the board against Elephants. They got hammered but seems that Bama has serious issues on defense. Linebackers going down in bunches over there. MVU Freshman QB goes well over 300 but took 57 passes to get it and basically nothing to show for it. But, if Coots can do that then LSU or Georgia will likely have much better teams to give Bama a loss. Doesn’t really matter but was surprised to see that stat line.

As moral victories go, underneath all that vitriol is a happy group playing to within 24 points of the big bad Tide ?????

Bama was happy to give him the quick slants all day long. They couldn't do squat in the red zone where it counts. That's where the rubber hits the road. His efficiency numbers in the RZ were awful.

Again, it's not so much how good their QB was--it's more about how awful the Bama LB's and DL were.

I hope we play Bama again...but I'm beginning to doubt they get by LSU or even Jawja.
