Michigan

Aug 26, 2018, 10:35 PM

Don’t understand all the love for the wolverines, they freaking lost to to USUK. Someone needs to take grandpa Corso back to the nursing home.

Go Tigers!

5 turnovers in the 4th quarter will do that to a team.

Not getting past PSU, Wisc or OSU

Aug 27, 2018, 12:22 AM

with other possible losses to ND this week and MSU down the road.

I talk to a Michigan fan almost every morning getting coffee. He’s all geeked out about Shea Patterson coming in from Ole Miss. 7 games 2200 yds passing, 17 TD, 9 INT. We’ll see, ND coming out the gate. Michigan has been a lot of talk and not much else in recent years. They need less talkin’ and more doin’, until that happens I’ll doubt them.

They'll finish somewhere between 9 - 3 and 7 - 5...

Aug 27, 2018, 12:47 AM

including yet another loss to Ohio State.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

9-3 would be pretty solid with their schedule

Aug 27, 2018, 8:09 AM

I think they play 5 teams in the preseason top 12 and 3 of them are on the road.

It all hinges on their offensive production***

I don’t trust any offense under Harbaugh. Michigan has been horrendous offensively the last few years

Re: Michigan

Aug 27, 2018, 1:32 AM

Dropping Patterson in Michigan's offense and assuming it's just going to work is a bit presumptuous. Patterson's good but he threw a lot of picks at Ole Miss in a spread offense and unless Michigan is overhauling their offense there could be hiccups in adjusting to a pro style. Also doesn't help that Tarik Black is having foot issues again and nagging foot issues have a tendency to be a problem for a while.

Should have a fairly solid D but OL is questionable...***

That was Meeshegin's problem all of last year too...

Aug 27, 2018, 7:53 AM

The defense was good, really good in fact, but the offense was so bad, they couldn't get the defense off the field.

On "The Herbies" last night, Chris "Bear" Fallica picked Michigan as the No. 1 defense in college football.

I think ours will be better but that wouldn't shock me.

Aug 27, 2018, 8:04 AM

They have a lot of talent coming back and maybe the 2nd best DC in college football.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

All depends on what they can get out of their offense

Aug 27, 2018, 8:02 AM

this year. I think their defense is going to be top 5. Their offense was terrible last year though (like South Carolina bad) so that's going to need to improve pretty significantly for them to actually challenge for that division.

Has a weirdo, crazy dude for a head coach and over rated***
