They were my second choice. I always imagined Burton making a drama out out pissing in a urinal. "Come out dammed pea, come out!!" But Liz was at least nice eye candy. Can't say the same for Betsy. Whoa Betsy!!!

The film industry has undergone radical changes. Actor only got 1-3 takes to get it right. They settled back then and the scenes were minutes long instead of the 2 sec takes we see now.

I'm not a Betty fan but if I had to pick one from that era to be the most overrated I'd go with Barbra Stanwyck. She sucked on Teh Big Valley with all those halfasz actors but somehow I never missed an episode.

If you want to see the progress of the film industry try a John Wayne movie from the 1930 then see the Shootist from mid 1970s. 50 Short years and a new world developed.

It's as if he finally took acting lesson.
