Sometimes it's easy to forget how good we really have it

Dec 31, 2018, 10:28 PM

Watching the Northwestern game and they posted a stat that said their senior class was the first with 2 10 win seasons and 2 Bowl wins.
Man, I'm really going to miss our senior class!

Me too Midvalley! And I think I read that Washington St (? - Mike Leach) won 11 games for the first time ever...,

If people were as good as their obituary - and products were as good as advertised - this would truly be a wonderful world !!

Northwestern likely will continue to win with that new QB they will have next season!

Oh yeah! I wasn't even thinking about Hunter Johnson.

Wish him all the best.

Or to watch pitiful play calling by VT and NCS coaches...***

Let's not forget actually scoring in a bowl game too

Not all programs in this state are as fortunate.

Yeah, all the way to conference play next year.

When you see their backups these starter will fade into nostalgia just like the starters of four years ago. We'll never have what we historically consider the best starting lineup. Every year our defense gets better. It changes but it always gets better.

Our RBs get better because our coaching, oline and system works better. They seem faster and stronger because we whup people's butts enough to make them lose their strength and speed.

Maybe someday we'll look back on one of these teams and say they were the best. I remember some of Danny's teams but frankly, since then we've had at least two years of starters who I believe were better. Maybe you young guys can have the luxury of looking back to our 2018 class and say they were the GOAT. Then maybe a few years later you'll change your minds.

I waited nearly 30 years to change my mind and I know it can happen again.
