So if Miami wins out, what happened to

Nov 11, 2017, 11:37 PM

The game they postponed earlier in the season... most teams are making them up on championship weekend, but they can't obviously due to being in the game... final cfp rankings come out shortly after... so do they get a pass or have to play the game? If so, when? Just curious.

It was an FBS team. Don’t think it gets played and won’t matter.

I think it was Arky State, so not really relevant IMO. I don't see anyone doubting the outcome of that game. If the CFP committee was considering ND, and they were, it would not be any worse than accepting a team that only plays 12 total games. Until they fix that rule, the game should not matter.

#1

whatever game they missed is irrelevant

they would be undefeated

power 5 conf

and have a conf champ game and have beaten top ranked teams

pretty easy

I disagree with the notion it has no relevance. Every other team has had 12 regular season games. For them to get in with 11 is sucky. Think about potential injuries. We lost Mike Williams for an entire season when we were playing a nobody. Keep him all of ‘15 and we are owners of 3 Nattys. Guaranteed!

So for them to escape injury possibilities that everyone else had to endure is an unfair advantage.
