Korean War on TV

Apr 29, 2019, 10:06 PM

During the 9 - 10 PM slot on the Educational Channel. The winter of 1950 - 51 was horrible. If you are watching this, this is what we had to endure but I was not on the front line.

Absolutely horrible conditions. I've been out in -20 conditions in the Rockies but could never imagine being in a war zone for extended periods of time in those temps.

I've seen some of the Korean War documentaries, and I think the Chinese actually fought against us (that doesn't sound correct, but it's what I remember). In the part that I saw, the Chinese outnumbered our guys and managed to cut off some of our troops. I can't remember what happened though. Those were horrific conditions, and those guys had few supplies to try and survive.
