I believe we have beat them a couple times.
Every now and then we beat UNC at home and we can beat FSU. We will not beat any of these teams playing half court. All 3 of these teams will press and try to run. CBB has his hands full because his scheme will not work vs these teams . Can not beat these teams relying on tough half court D and throwing the ball around the key.
That’s what they want ,to get rebounds and push it up the court. Long story short got to take it to these teams. Beat them at their on game.

Just loss to a team that had 2 Conf wins coming in

This team will get beat Saturday and lose to UNC. This was a killer just like NC st. Good teams don’t play down to the level of their competition. That gets you beat by poor teams and Clemson has made a history of doing it

I agree but a well coached team with loads of SRs , should be able to win 6 more games.
The problem is we are not well coached.
Coach B is a good guy and a decent coach but he is over his head at this level.
He has had decent talent and underachieved every year but maybe 2

Now that I'm over my bitterness. I agree with you. Playing rec league style ball does not work. You have to take it to the hoop and play "D" like mad-men. We are too methodical, too mechanical. Just lots of snappy, passes, take it to hoop, kick out to the open man. Been saying this for years, I'm going to bed ...

Mitchell needs to put more effort into defense. The little guy for Miami drove by uncontested all night (21 points). I think the team was concentrating too hard on winning. Need to loosen up and have some fun. Everyone in the building was shocked Miami's last shot went in....including the shooter.
