Just for fun- looking back at O’Daniel

May 5, 2018, 7:38 PM

He was a RB in high school. How do you guys think he would have done if we had used him as a RB instead of a LB? I’ll admit, at the time, I thought we were making a mistake because he had the size we had been lacking from the RB position. He turned out to be one of the best at his position. Very dangerous! Had a nose for the ball and a motor that didn’t stop. He was even good in coverage when needed.

I’m just curious of how you all think he would have done running the ball.

Better LB than RB. He didn’t have the straight line speed to be an elite RB. He could have been like an Adam Choice/CJ Fuller.

Good post. Often wondered how Wayne Gallman would fare at LB

which he played in high school as well as RB ...

As for DOD, as GT stated, DOD lacks top 40 speed but his cone drill maneuverability is off the charts even for NFL caliber players. He would be a load to bring down just like Gallman.
