Muscoot does not require bowl appearances. You don't have to play past November. Since Feaster is a Clemson man, he is being fairly smart here. If he played for us with NFL aspirations as a back which the number of hits pile up, he would have a Conference Championship Game, CFP game, and a Natty on top of a regular season. Worse, since he already played 3 years with us, so he has almost played an extra season of football (8 games). Now he gets to be the the only star on a team where the QB can only hit the medical golf-cart and that he can ditch when they *might* make it to the Birmingham Bowl. All he was looking for was a disposable team with no real academic requirements while he hustles for the NFL.
Finally, the last game before the NFL draft will be against the best defense so hopefully he can increase the draft stock.
