turn around. In the past, or so it seems to me, there usually was a longer gap between the game and the visit. Perhaps as long as a month.

could get the whole team before they broke up and went their separate ways. Then it would be harder to get the guys no longer at Clemson to be involved.

There were a ton of players not attending anyway... This was to avoid the speculation and PR mess with who is and isn't going they just ripped the bandaid off and rushed the trip in right away.

You'll notice no one is talking about the players that choose not to attend (underclassmen included). This was a masterstroke PR move with everyone in the country talking about Clemson and it's championship for another news cycle.

Best is standard and that applies to the PR front as well.

The quick turnaround was all about the gov shutdown. Trump cancelled everything and was at the WH all alone. He made contact with CU and said we have open times now....come on up. Otherwise, would have to find another time later in the year.
