Isn't it strange?

Sep 10, 2014, 10:49 PM

Ten years ago under Tommy Bowden we took beating the ##### for granted, and every other year we handled FSU. But, we would drop games to teams like BC and Wake and end up an 8-5 or 7-6 team. All we wanted is national relevance and a shot at an ACC title, so we fired him. Now we have won our conference, won a BCS game, and we beat every team we are supposed to beat, but we have been owned by Spurrier and 6 turnovers, and we have struggled mightily against FSU.

Which leads me to the point. Less than one year from now, a Deshaun powered Clemson offense will beat a Jameisless FSU. And in 2016 who knows how far we will go? The question is what team shows up next Saturday? The UGA Clemson or the New Clemson?

Isn't Jameis a RS sophomore this year?

I would think he'd likely announce and leave early

Nice thought but FSU recruits phenomenally - too much talent

to fade away.

Jimbo can coach well enough to most likely be the favorite every pre- season.

Ten years ago the coots sucked and FSU wasn't all that great

either. Totally different situations.

There's something in these hills.
