With as big of fish the ncaa is and collect their cut on the settlement the ncaa would undoubtedly offer. I don't think with the case they have and recent rulings by the other agencies that the ncaa would want any part of this going to court.
Best interest to adopt the other sports' ruling bodies interpretations and drop this suspension before the season begins. Common sense would suggest the NCAA will see the light; however, if they don't do it until another year or two, Galloway and Giella would seem to have an easy win in getting an eligibility year back...or compensation for the loss of that year. Not sure it's worth that for the NCAA.
Of course...I did suggest, foolishly, common sense as a guiding light. Maybe I should just drink.
