Is it crazy to think Dexter Lawrence could come back ?

He's slipping out of the 1st round in some mock drafts recently. This draft is being considered as one of the strongest defensive class drafts in recent memory. Could he help himself by coming back next year? Or is his foot thing too big of a risk to spend another year in college?

Yes it's crazy and I can see you're nuts.
We can hope though.

I was called all kinds of names for thinking Wilkins would come back. I did not know the entire line would be back but Wilkins was a different cat. He was having too much fun.
Big Dex, not sure but I certainly wouldn’t be surprised.

I would be very surprised.
The guys making decisions last year had the benefit of coming back to play with one of their best friends in Lawrence. I'm sure he likes all of his teammates but if he comes back by himself then he is the only guy left over from the vaunted group.
He also may project the highest of any of them.

That's true but those are coming from people who write articles for a living. Nothing at this point is coming from people who draft football players for a living.
Last year at this time half of our d-line was set to go in the first round. They were even articles written about them turning down first round money to come back to school.
The reality was that the ones who had options to leave were given 2nd round grades or lower and thought they could come back and improve.
It will be interesting to see what the draft brings to those who chose to come back.

Ferrell will be our first as you stated. Some say Mullen next.

2020 by coming back next year and winning more A-A and other awards - something like that. I don't see CF coming back, though, but don't know how he's thinking.

That would be so awesome. I have noticed him slipping as well though in mock drafts. He would be a savior for our D though.

0% chance that happens. That front four planned to all leave together...

You're probably right. Sucks because we are hoping for some freshman or redshirt to show something. Nyles looked kind of rough this year and we will see who steps up next to him. Our LB's will have to play lights out vs the run. Doesn't matter, TL will be putting up 50 per game anyway.

It sucks that huggy bear didn’t redshirt his freshman year. It would be nice to have him next year.

an opportunity to win b2b National Championships, which is the next feat for the Tigers to accomplish! Win this one and there might be a slight chance he returns! Go Tigers!
