He hired Brian VanGorder, the team’s third defensive coordinator in three seasons, who has worked for 19 different teams, both collegiate and professional, over the last 29 years.
To further compound matters, Petrino son is the QB coach and his son-in-law is the DB coach.

In my experience weak and horribly flawed people do not surround themselves with strong, forthright, smart people. The result is you get a race to the bottom of the barrel for the entire cesspool within the leadership.

At Louisville with the Papa John's fiasco and is tired of it. Get fired, get the buyout, go down a level to like Southern Miss or something and have a couple good seasons then resurface at UNC, Missouri or Texas Tech or something

Van Girder is not a bad coach. He rarely gets run off. Most of the time, he gets hired away. Bobby Bowden could always control the inmates in his asylum. Patrons is a good xes band o's coach, but a terrible administrator. His inmates are running his asylum. You recruit purely based on star ranking with no regard to character and you get what you are now seeing at Loserville.
