Insane stat about CFB domination

May 16, 2019, 4:46 PM

ELEVEN of the last TWELVE CFB playoff games have been won by either Clemson or Alabama. The only game that wasn't was the one that neither team played in, OU vs UGA.

Clemson enters 2019 having won 10 consecutive games by 20 or more points, tied for the second-longest streak in the AP Poll era (since 1936).

Wait that isn't possible...Didn't the coots just have a moral victory over us like 3 games ago?

40-1: Alabama's record against all non-Clemson teams in the past three years. The Tide are 1-2 against the Tigers.

Let's not cherry pick the stats, in the past 4 years they have identical 55-4 record with 2 Nattys each. Both teams have lost the same number of games to each other as they have to every other team combined in that time frame...2. I am not sure anything like that has ever happened before in any sport. The Gamecocks does not even feel like a rivalry game anymore, ever since Clemson started using their stadium as a poor excuse for a practice field. I'll say no more out of respect for the dead. They were buried a while back.
