That all depends on your investment goals and appetite for risk. I'd recommend low cost ETFs over high fee actively managed mutual funds.
I also don't know if you're serious or not since you have me scratching my head as to why someone would ask tnetters for investment advice. If you are serious though and looking for friendly advice I'm always happy to shed my $0.02 for a fellow tiger.

Do they have Vanguard Target Date options?

These are typically the best choice for 401k accounts. It is a fund that will automatically diversify and redistribute itself over time based on your predicted retirement date.

Sure people will come out and say they can beat it because they are smart and actively manage but I encourage you to compare funds you’re looking at to it. It also has much lower fees than actively managed funds. All the big companies including fidelity would have a similar fund

The Vanguard Index Funds are second to none. The 500, Total Market, etc. Do admiral shares if you can afford it.

Real estate was, is, and always will be the best investment. There is no more land being made (Except the United Arab Emirates with their fake islands). People are always going to need a place to live. Real estate will always rise in value over the long term

It’s not 1950; real estate is a smart buy in select areas. Go out to Eutawville and buy some land see what your return is after 10 years. After taxes you’ll be lucky to lose a couple thousand. Start a dove club on said land and you might break even.

Believe it or not there are still good stocks that pay 8% - 10% dividends based on their current stock value. I have one such stock that pays all my vehicle (3 vehicles) and property (farm and a lot) taxes, auto insurance and home owners insurance plus gives me a little money left over. Even better, the stock price is less than $18/share.
So my recommendation is to search until you find the stock(s) you like that pay the best dividends.

Ignore all of the advice above. Concentrate your money in 2 or 3 stocks you believe in, and study and watch those companies like a hawk. Don’t be afraid to sell if you made the wrong call, ride your winners. Concentration allows you to build real money.

Don’t listen to this guy, another 2008 could bankrupt you. Good companies can take quick unforeseen hits. When it comes to your financially well being always have worst case scenario in the back of your mind first.
You can’t be that far from retirement asking a question like this so something conservative would be best. Mentioned before Vanguard 500 always a smart play.
If you can stand to lose half of it and still live the rest of your life as planned buy 3 stocks and ride them. A strong dividend paying stock(also mentioned before) would be a-little more aggressive and a good way to make quick steady returns without 20 years to let it compound. Maybe a bank or capital group that invests in tech and or oil. There are lots of good stocks that are basically banks lending money for ownership in return.
If it was me I’d put the money I could not retire comfortably without a side and put it in something safe but with a decent steady return... mutual fund. The rest I can get a little more creative and risky with; if I take a hit I can still sleep at night.

They are all ignoring the “watch it like a hawk” part. Investment teaching shows how to grow money with less risk. Less risk equals less reward. They teach this to keep from getting sued if they are wrong. Did Bill Gates or Jeff Besos get rich through diversification? They are rich because the stock they own in the companies they manage went through the roof.

Take a look at some of the weed stocks in Canada pre legalization. This is not bad advice if you pick the right company and have the time for the federal government to legalize.
High risk unless you do your research; need a cash heavy low debt company with their foot planted firmly in the doorway ready to ride it out for the next 10-20 years until it’s legalized federally
